SOCのアイデンティティのひとつとも言える一本針の折伏せ縫いを採用したデニムジャケットです。
まだ、いわゆるジージャンがデニムブラウスと呼ばれていた時代のスタイルを意識したデザインは、カーブしたフロントヨークや、その曲線にあわせるようにセットされたフロントポケットなど、大量生産の時代では困難ともいえる仕様を随所に見ることができます。
カンヌキ縫製を使わず、むき出しのリベットで補強された部分や前立てにセルビッジ部分を使うなど、どこまでもクラシカルに仕上げています。
手摘みされたジンバブエコットンを旧式のシャトル織機で織ったオリジナルの12ozセルヴィッチデニムです。整理加工を入れない生機はザラつきがあり不規則な凹凸があり、グリーン掛かった色落ちが特徴となります。

The unique design, which was popularized during a time when denim jackets were referred to as denim blouses,the intricate details such as the curved front yoke and front pockets arranged to suit the curved shape sets it apart from mass produced designs.
The use of selvedge denim to interline the areas that have been reinforced with uncovered rivets creates a classic look.
The denim fabric is exclusively produced for Stevenson Overalls on a vintage shuttle loom with Zimbabwe cotton. The unsanforized 12oz. selvedge denim has a rough and slubby character, with a subtle green color undertone. (Made by Kuroki Mills)
